Scott's great-grandfather, George, emigrated to America in 1892 and held a NY Master License #1. George did a large amount of plumbing while the industry exploded in NYC around the turn of the century, but lost his fortune in the Great Depression.
Dellon Sales was founded in 1949 by George’s son and Scott’s grandfather, Earl. Earl Dellon started his career as an oil burner parts wholesaler, but later started Dellon Sales in 1949 with Scott’s father Gene Dellon and his twin brother, Stan. Scott joined Dellon Sales in 1975 and worked alongside his father and uncle until he bought each of them out and became the sole owner.
Scott's son, David, majored in marketing and supply chain logistics at Penn State University and graduated in 2005. After graduation, David immediately joined the business where he started working in the warehouse and worked in every aspect of the company. David Dellon is President of the company now, running it alongside his father and carrying the business into its 4th generation.
David Dellon is active in many industry associations; as a board member of the ASA Emerging Leaders group, other manufacturer's rep councils, and he has also completed the Certified Professional Manufacturer's Representative Course (CPMR).
